The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
